We have recently activated an advanced email security solution from Graphus to protect against sophisticated email attacks.

As you are well aware, email-attacks are the #1 reason for network and data breaches. These sophisticated attacks leverage social-engineering tactics to trick us into replying, clicking a link, or opening an attachment that ultimately results in loss of money or confidential information, getting infected with malware/ransomware, or an email account takeover.

When an email threat is identified by Graphus, an active warning banner called an EmployeeShield® is inserted in the email. The following is an example of this. Please note that emails with malicious URLs or attachments are auto-quarantined and you will not see them in your Inbox.

EmployeeShield® provides a detailed message about the specific threat identified in the email. This message will vary based on the exact threat detected in that email.

If, after reading this warning message, you agree that the email is indeed a threat, click on ‘Report Phishing’. You will be required to re-authenticate to validate you are the intended recipient of this email. This will then automatically remove the email from your and anyone’s inbox who may have received the same email. It will also notify us – your IT Security team. If, after reading the warning message you are certain that the message is not suspicious, then click ‘Report Safe’ and the banner will disappear from the email.

Providing explicit feedback by clicking ‘Report Phishing’ or ‘Report Safe’ protects our organization in real-time from sophisticated email attacks. Your active participation is much appreciated.

Phish911: If you see an email that looks suspicious but does not have an EmployeeShield®, you can still report that message to us by forwarding that email to Report@impresscomputers.com. When you forward an email to this address, it will be immediately removed from your inbox and your IT team will be notified for further action.
